3 Great Ways To Celebrate Your Loyal Customers

3 Great Ways To Celebrate Your Loyal Customers

With the cost of living on the rise, most customers will shop just about anywhere to get the best deal. While you can’t always offer the best deal, you can reward and celebrate the customers who continually choose you when they go shopping. This will make loyal consumers out of potential customers and keep the already loyal ones around. Keep reading to learn about three great ways to celebrate your loyal customers.

Offer a Membership Program

A membership program is a great way to help your customers feel seen and appreciated. Give them a membership card with all the essential information and let them continue with their normal shopping habits. But don’t stop there. You can track information with membership cards, which means you can learn what your most loyal customers are buying, when their birthday is, and what sales they take advantage of. This information helps you offer customized rewards, like a discount on their favorite purchase just because, a birthday gift, and a heads-up that a sale is coming.

Throw a Party

Sometimes the best way to celebrate your customers isn’t to treat them like customers but like guests. Throwing a party is the perfect way to make them feel like honored guests and will keep them coming back, both in appreciation of your party and in hopes of another invite in the future. You can advertise the party to any customer who walks in the door, or you can send invitations to your most loyal customers if you’ve kept track of their information. Customize the party to reflect what your business does and what your guests love.

Provide Free Gifts

While free gifts are the most common way to celebrate customers, they also have a reputation for being tacky and cheap. Break this stereotype by providing free gifts that your customers will want and use. Make sure that the gift is relevant to your business as well. Don’t just give out a free pen with your business name and logo for every $20 purchase. If you’re a bookstore, give out custom bookmarks made by a local artist. If you’re a jewelry store, provide a trial-sized bottle of jewelry cleaner. Invest in gifts that will make your customers appreciate you and want to come back for more.

Three great ways to celebrate your loyal customers are offering a membership program, throwing a party, and providing free gifts. No matter which of these options you choose, make sure you’re taking your customers into consideration and choosing a celebration that will make them feel appreciated.
